Desert Outlaw captures Magnus’ 1978 Porsche 911 SCHR, a former track car in an unfamiliar environment: a dry lake bed deep in Johnson Valley, California. When the team’s initial plans to shoot at El Mirage were shut down due to storm closures, they headed down to Rabbit Lake and captured this scene just minutes before the sun dipped behind the surrounding mountains.
Daniel Malikyar is a photographer and filmmaker based in Los Angeles. He is also the Co-Founder of Santo Gallery with work spanning across 40 countries.
